Apple, according to some trustworthy sources, is going to release the next generation iPad and iPad mini sometime next month.
The Cupertino based tech giant, Apple is reportedly going to follow the newly adopted suite of releasing iPads in 7 months period. Well the confirmed report came from tech blog, iMore.
The blog said that the information came from an unnamed source that allegedly is familiar with Apple’s upcoming plans for the next-generation tablets.
The next gen iPad mini will retain the same screen size however there will be an update in terms of the pixel or screen resolution. According to reports, Apple is considering to double the resolution meaning there will be two times PPI on offer with iPad mini (about 326 pixels per inch).
The tech site also claims that there will be no retina display on offer with the next iPad mini or iPad mini 2. The company is considering to bring retina display with iPad mini 3 which is slated or say rumored to launch later this year or the next year.
For those who have been waiting for Apple to announce the iPad mini 2 at a cheaper price point, there’s a not so shocking shock. The upcoming iPad mini 2 will be priced more than that of current iPad mini.
